We are the Baumgartner family...
and run the Öbersthof Latzfons with hard work and dedication. The farm is located at an elevation of 1,650 meters, surrounded by biodiverse, near-natural mountain meadows and forests. Our operation specializes in high-quality beef cattle farming. Since spring 2024, we have also been offering farm stays.
Our farm is not just a place of work
but also a place of community and togetherness. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm and giving you a glimpse into life in the countryside.
Georg & Nadja
Since 2023, Georg and Nadja have been running the farm with passion and dedication. Georg, our young farmer, cares for the animals and the land with great devotion. But you’ll also find him in the farm tavern time and again, where he loves to lend a hand and create a cozy atmosphere. Nadja lovingly looks after the well-being of our vacation guests and visitors to our farm tavern, as well as everything that needs doing around the farm. As a florist, she has a special passion for flowers and plants—she feels right at home in the garden, among the blooming flower beds and lovely details.
Hans & Martha
have built up the farm with hard work and passion and shaped it over many years. Hans knows every corner of the farm and continues to support us to this day with his experience and extensive knowledge. Martha is the heart and soul of the farm and lovingly takes care of the house, farm, and garden. Especially during the warmer months, you’ll often find her in her blooming garden, which is her great passion.
Neben Georg, Hans und Martha gehören auch noch die Geschwister Jonas, Gabriel und Luzia zur
Familie. Sie helfen auch mit viel Freude am Hof mit.
Latzfons is located in the Eisack Valley at an elevation of 1,160 meters
und bietet eine malerische Lage inmitten der Südtiroler Alpen. Die Umgebung ist von einer atemberaubenden Berglandschaft geprägt, mit grünen Wiesen, dichten Wäldern und imposanten Gipfeln. Latzfons ist bekannt für seine idyllische Atmosphäre und den traditionellen Charme eines typischen Südtiroler Bergdorfes. Das Eisacktal bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie Wandern, Skifahren und Mountainbiken. Zudem gibt es in der Umgebung viele historische Sehenswürdigkeiten und kulturelle Veranstaltungen, die Besucher anziehen.
Im Dorfzentrum finden Sie alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Egal ob Lebensmittelläden, Bäcker oder Metzger (15 Autominuten).
